It's beginning to look like sample sale season and I'm living on the wrong coast of the US! My east coast friends, specifically ones who live in NY, how lucky are you guys ?? I received a few notices in my inbox and I'm absolutely green with envy. If I could jet off to New York for a week and hit up these sample sales...perhaps, I'll get my holiday shopping done;) I keep hearing that these sales are legendary! Then again, maybe it's a good thing I'm on the west coast. I might end up holiday shopping for myself, instead haha!

I wonder if Rebecca Minkoff's "Morning After" handbags will be part of the sales?! Rebecca's collection is on my wishlist...


I heard through the grapevine that this multi-designer sample sale is worth the trip. Also, the designer line-up will not be revealed until the last minute.


I would have loved to be at the Elizabeth and James sample sale yesterday!! If you're a fan of the Olsens' designs, check out their luxury line The Row sample sale tomorrow. Racked LA mentioned that the LA sales had deep discounts that were worth "braving rush hour traffic"! Now that's a bold statement;)

As for us So Cal gals, Daily Candy compiled a list here (I'm curious about the Geren Ford sales, but I can't make it!). Another notable sale is The Outnet's Alexander Wang blowout (online, woohoo!) as a kick-off to their newly designed site.
